I have an amana side by side.  the refrigerator door cam (door closure) is broken.  from the refrigerator door, there are electrical wires attached to a square plasting houseing which has a male and female that connect to each other.  how do i get the wires and their housing through the center of the door cam?  thanks.

I assume you are referrring to the wires at the upper hinge. There should be a slot in the hinge itself through which the wires can be fed. If not, just remove the hinge from the cabinet by removing the 5/16" screws.
