can any one tell me how to start a manual defrost with this model ref.(msd2756geq also if you ever try to remove the control cover on this ref.you must first remove control dial (two screws one on each side then the fun begins,you have to pull as hard as you can to aline slotts in rear of cover to free it lots of luck

unplug, remove panel very carefuly,  5 screws, 2 1/4  in. in front, 2 phillips under light bulbs, 1 in back panel, unit drops down very carefuly.... was2 screws holding def. unit in place. short between test and L1 till you here click, see if def heater comes on....  i did this job in 40 minutes... not as bad as i thought. you need good eyes to read lettering on def. board.  good luck, the buschman
