help! i have a customer who is complaining of pink ice cubes!! maytag side by side 10 months old........any ideas

Only thing I could think of is see what is in the water lines to the frig., or what may be growing in the filter?? Perhaps rust in the water lines?? City dug up the main to repair and now red dirt in the water? Need to see if it is in fact inside of the ice cubes or on the outside, if you can see anything solid in the ice or water....if it is just in the ice cubes and not in the water to the rest of the house I would be looking at the filter or see who is putting food coloring in the ice mold as a joke...
