Sears front loader Mod 417.42052100  Ser XC24406413.  Noisy during pumpout.  Normal sounds during agitate but growls during pumpout.

Pull the suction hose off the pump and clean out the coins and bobby pins. Look inside the pump, too, to check for detritus there as well.



If the noise remains, replace the pump.

Pulled the suction hose and did not find any foreign objects! Pulled the discharge hose to check the impeller and found nothing.  The impeller is difficult to turn with finger pressure so I think the pump is mechanically defective. Tnx for your help!
