 I even have the old coupler off! I'm ready to put the new one on. The holes in the two plastic pieces can be lined up or not with each other. The rubber part isn't keyed. Does it make a difference?

 Plastic coupler has 3 prongs each, rubber insert  6 holes, will all line up.  Your old coupler has round pegs, new one has teardrop shape prongs, is a better design...your pegs on the old couplers probably broke off...

 Can't celebrate too much yet. I've got the two plastic pieces tapped onto each shaft and the rubber piece on the transmission side. Now I'm rigging up some support for the motor so that I'll be able to get the grommets and the plastic fingers lined up where they are supposed to be. Once I get the clips onto the motor, I'll be close to being a happy camper.

 It's one of those two steps forward and one back tho! Looks like I've got the motor lined up and ready to do the top clip but of course I can't get the clip into the slot - yet. I'm going to try wiggling it and the motor to try to get the little bit of room needed. The bottom clip will be another thing but I'm not worrying about it for now.

 GFG, if you can put rhw clip in the top slot, line your motor up, then push it slightly at an upward angle,put your support under it,then push the top clip on.After that, it will pretty much hold itself together while you put on the bottom clip and the pump.

 I managed to get the motor clipped on, the wiring stuff back together and the pump is now clipped on too! Now I'm looking around to see if I have any extra parts laying around! I've got to look at the directions but I think putting the cabinet back on, hooking up the lid switch, changing out the hoses (needs it), plugging in the power, turning on the water, and see what happens.

 Everything is back together but the water hoses. I'm having problems getting one loose but it will succumb shortly I am sure! Then I just need to remember to plug in the power cord!

 Of course the cycle isn't over yet but it is agitating!!! So far so good. I'm waiting for the spinning now. I am hopeful! I may have to do laundry tomorrow!

 I didn't put anything in the first test load. I didn't want to have to deal with that just in case.... But now there's a load in! I still am finding it difficult to accept the fact that I did it (with the considerable help of you guys). I want to get the washer supply faucets fixed - leaking a very small bit. I think that I'm going to get some laundry done first! In the meantime I'll be showing up on my ice dispenser thread. I plan to start back on the dispenser tomorrow. Did ya'll get some of the "beer" I sent last night?

 I've washed several loads and it is still working! I can't believe it! Having cheerleaders sure helps! And I do have some more "projects" on my list so I'll be back. Thank you again. P.S.
