Sorry to bring this topic back up however I was hoping someone found an answer. Situation: Kenmore Elite w/ Catalyst purchased in 2001 (no numbers on hand as I'm at work currently) The power we used to receive was pro-rated and came through the farm which of course was dirty due to the large current requirements for various farm equipment. The machine would randomly quit with no response, sometimes unplugging it would work, other times letting it sit for a week or so would bring it back to life. I resolved the problem by setting the washer in the garage and using an old one until we moved to our home that was being built. Additionally, the home is on a different grid and service is provided by a different power company. We moved in last weekend, put the washing machine in place and have been using it for a week. My wife just called and told me it quit working again. In our previous home, I went as far as to place the machine on a UPS to ensure our power was filtered however this did not help. Is there a primary component that I could replace to get this unit to act accordingly? Thanks for all the help and enjoy the weekend! Tripper
