Hello I have a Frigidaire FRT18HS6J50 refrigerator. It has a broken shelve, I ran a serch on google and it seems to be a very common problem for this model. I went to my appliance supplier and its will cost me $148 canadian. The issue I have besides the price is that the counterman told me to get used to paying for it because the new one will break eventually also, he has 5 in stock. This is the glass shelve that has only one drawer underneath it part # 240358906. Has anybody used a different shelve for this model? Is there another option besides maybe having a shelve made at a glass shop? Thanx in advance for any advice Joe

Hi I found it for as low as $14.99, but mostly around $40.00...in the states. All except for one will not ship to Canada, and the one that does, $42.99 + $45.00 shipping + $25.00 broker fee + $20.00 tax = screwed. I did find it at a Canadian website for around $120.00 + shipping. I might have no choice but to buy it but it really leaves a bad taste in my mouth knowing its such a flimsy part and I probably won't put in the lower shelf due to the fact their is still a teenager in the house, and he is not very careful. I was kinda hoping that another shelf from another model might fit Any help is appreciated Joe
