I have a GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator (mid 1990's). The model is TFX24PRXB.

The ice maker is making ice ok but none of the freezer door components work (ice dispenser, water dispenser or light).

I found the wiring going to the door (it's under the upper door hinge)----it all looks fine. I also changed the 4-watt light bulb. It seems as if no power is getting to the freezer door but when I put my hand against the freezer door surface (just below the flat dispenser button), the surface of the door feels slightly warm all the time. So, there must be electricity flowing through the wires into the freezer door but none of the dispenser buttons or light works.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

PS: I had posted a few weeks ago that the ice maker also didn't work but that seemed to solve itself as that works fine now without me having done anything.
