My Maytag PDB3600 stopped working after the last full cycle. The Unit has power; the timer runs ans when set to a delayed cycle, the Delay light is lit on the control panel. Nothing seems jammed, and the door switches work. Everything else seems dead; it does not fill, the motor does not run and the dry cycle does not activate. Would a dead motor kill everything else just like that, or might it be a bad timer?

After looking at the schematic again and reading some more posts, I tested the voltage at the white wire door switch, since everything that did not work needed the white wire. It showed no power. I traced it back and discovered that it was severed right where it came into the door from underneath the tub. Splicing the wire made everything work again.
