I have a Kenmore Elite electric range 79099129401. After a power outage the oven elements don't work (coincidence?). The range top works fine. The display reads OK (when you preheat it reads "pre", etc.). The warming drawer works fine. But none of the elements inside apear to be heating. The oven light and convection fan work but not the convection element (I think it has a separate element for the convection). Is there possibly a fuse that has blown or something simple like that?

Frigidaire Kenmore 79099129401 Wiring Diagram No Fuse nor Thermal Limt on that model. Have you recently used the Oven Self-Clean ? Sounds like a bad Oven Controller. click on picture ![]()

Hello, my unclean friend. Absent a thermal cutoff, which I do not see in the schematic that Sublime Master Reginald so thoughtfully posted for you, then I think Reginald's conclusion is the only reasonable one you can draw.

So if we assume it is the oven controller, is that a part that is "plug and play", or do you recommend a repair tech handles it?

just plug in play....may want to invest in the overlay as well. you may be able to remove your old one if you heat it with a hair dryer and slowly peel it off.
