Model # LTE6234DQ3 Washer/Dryer combo unit

The issue is that sometimes the washer will not spin, even though I can hear a whirring sound.  Agitate works fine as well as everything else.  When it gets in the state of no-spin, I can hit the timer switch and turn it back on after a couple seconds and the spin will engage.  The behavior I am seeing is pretty consistent.

I sat through an entire cycle and timed each change:

0:00 - Fill Start
3:20 - Hi Agitate Start
15:20 - Lo Agitate Start
19:20 - ~4 second pause, spin/drain start  (at this point the spin is working correctly)
21:20 - ~3 second pause, motor sound but no spin!
23:20 - Fill Start
27:45 - Hi Agitate Start
31:45 - ~4-5 second pause, spin/drain start (spin working correctly)
33:45 - ~3 second pause, motor sound but no spin!

I've read on this forum about the timer delay that triggers the transmission to switch in and out of neutral drain mode.  But according to the above timeline, the timer seems to be functioning correctly.  The timer diagram says that the pauses should be between 2.2 sec and 6.5 sec, which they definitely are.

Does it look like a transmission problem?  Or maybe something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

when it doesn't Spin, try opening the Lid for another 5 seconds to see what happens.

It may be a sluggish Spin Prawl in the Transmission

OR it's cold in your laundry room ...

Yup, if I open the lid, or throw the timer switch for a few seconds, it will start up spinning every time.  The laundry room isn't too cold, probably lower 60s at the worst.

either the Timer isn't pausing it long enough or the Spin Prawl ...

You may have to double-check the Timer pause timing ...
