Have an electric range where the oven will not stay on. On 10 seconds, shuts down. Then back on again.. Element is fine.. 3600watt at 14.6 amps. Range is 5 years old... Thanks

The number is off the sales receipt.. the range belongs to a relative. Cannot find the manual. This may be the model... MER5755QAW? It is on the receipt also.. I used a meter with amp probe at the element. Getting 238V at 14.6 amps on each connection. Heats for 5 seconds shuts off for 5 seconds then it repeats the same.. I can hear a clicking when it dos this.. can it be the clock timer?

I did not check the lower since the diagram says its is the broiler element.. I'am going to check again at the terminal block. This will show if the lower element is working, but I still question why the power cycles on and off show quickly..
