I did indeed reach in as far as my fingers would take me, but felt nothing. Not sure if I should have felt something at that point. Not sure if you've read the entire post (or posts), but it might be important to note that the unit got very quiet at the same time as it stopped producing cubes.

No. Nothing seems to happen, in fact nothing does happen. Green LED is constant-lit, and no other issues of any kind
