i have a whirlpool dishwasher model number DU945PWPT2(verified 4 times ). the dishwasher drain motor runs non stop as long as the door is closed. however it still performs its functions normal. it washes a full load of dishes no prob start to finish. it fills up with water and drains the water also. i have called 3 repairmen and they all either try to sell me a knew one or tell me the pump is bad and want to charge me my first born to replace it. i am pretty sure the pump is fine. please help

I just recently had a whirlpool dryer doing the same thing... motor would run even when the door was closed ... However there were no lights on the control panel display. When you turn on the dryer in normal function, only then, the display lights up, heater turns on and everything worked fine. The problem was a stuck relay on the PCB. I am wondering by looking at the diagram RegUS_PatOff supplied if you are experiencing the same thing?

just had one 3 weeks ago. you can start a cycle but it only runs drain winding i replaced the pcb all was well.
