I apologize, but I cannot find the model number on this dishwasher. It was in the house we purchased, so we don't have an owner's manual. I would likely have to pull it out to get the numbers, and I will do so if necessary. Anyway, we just noticed some black flecks on the bottom of a few of the dishes. I believe the only dishes affected were on the top rack. There were not a huge number of flecks; perhaps 20 or so. The black flecks are pretty soft, the consistency of grease. When we wiped them off, the left a slight stain on the plastic dishes. These stains didn't wash off using Joy dish detergent. I suggested Goo Gone, and my wife states this worked. I have done a cursory inspection of the dishwasher, but see no apparent evil. I also ran some Tang through in an attempt to clean things up a bit, though the interior looks pretty clean. I tried Googling and searching the forums for a solution to this issue...no dice. Any idea as to what might be going on here? Many thanks, Bob

check for model number inside the tub opening, out side of the door seal...... left, right or top............( if not check the right side of the door ) ..Check to make sure that there is an 'air gap' in the drain line, the drain line needs to have a section of line higher than the connection point at the drain pipe or the disposer............... the 'air gap' is to stop fluids, grease and other 'stuff' from back filling into the dishwasher..........
