Hi guys, We have a 30" fridge, no freezer. Does anyone know what the beep codes are for this fridge? We had a few people come out. First guy said it was the door switch, 5 beeps still happen. 2nd guy said it was the control board. I replaced that last night, still the 5 beeps. Any help would be great!

5 quick beeps is the signal of a bad thermistor.... since this is a fridge only(no freezer) there is also a power supply board that fools the unit into thinking it also has a freezer (both use the same control board) if this fails, it can also cause the 5 beeps; i know this cause i already had this exact issue drive me nucking futs and indeed it was the power supply.... no way to test the power supply but if the thermistor and wiring harness check good thats the problem.not sure what the resistance should be exactly on the thermistor at room temperature but i will try to find out later (unless reg beats me to it LOL)

Thanks for the reply. BTW the part I replaced was 005319-000 POWER CONTROL BOARD. That is what the 2nd tech was going to replace. So I picked one up and did it my self.

not sure what that part you replaced is... it is a good # but the part lookup i use (vikings ) sez the power suppy board is part # PE970608 located in the compressor area, to the right side of the compartment. can you attach a photo of the board you replaced?

yeah, that is not the power supply board i am referring to...that is the "high voltage" board. if this looks like the part you replaced, you need to check in to the other part # i gave you as it is the one that could cause the 5 beeps...
