I just put a new circ pump into my ASKO 1385 dishwasher. My troubles started two months ago when the ball bearings came loose in the top rack of the dishwasher and fell to the bottom, giving the impeller a difficult time. I've put in a new dispenser, had the wax motor replaced and micro switch, and still water didn't come from the washblades. It would be after this I'd lear of the impeller problem. Well, the circ pump is in and everything is hooked up. however, do I need to prime the lower well in order for the water to begin entering the dishwasher? I turned it on and there's pump noise, but no jets spraying. Do you have any further suggestions that I might implement? Thank you in advance.

Hello, my ball bearing friend. If I understand your question correctly, yes, there needs to be a minimum charge of water into the basin in order for the washer pump to develop proper pressure to operate the spray arms.
