Help me please O wise ones?!? Problem: ice dispenser doesn't work. LEDs on control board work fine. Making lots of ice. Neither the auger nor the motor is frozen or jammed. I've check connections at the back of the dispenser board and at the bottom of the door and they all -seem- fine. I've played around a bit and noticed something very strange (to me anyway): 1) With the ice door solenoid plugged in the auger motor will not run when the dispenser is pushed. Compresser/fan noise in the back of the 'fridge stops when dispenser pushed. The courtesy light doesn't light for the first 2-3 pushes, then it lights on the 3rd or 4th. The LEDs dim on the first 3-4 attempts too. The solenoid then also actuates on the 3rd/4th, but I'm not sure it is as strong as it should be - it doesn't really throw the dispenser chute door open. Water doesn't work either. Courtesy light comes on but seems dim, then goes brighter when the solenoid times out, then fades to black as it should normally. 2) If I toggle the dispenser switch until the solenoid is actuating "correctly" (but no motor, ice or water) and THEN DISCONNECT the solenoid -- then the auger motor works, ice is dispensed AND the water works! Strange... (Of course, the ice gets stuck behind the flapper because there isn't a solenoid to open it.) 3) If I wait for a while - solenoid still disconnected - and try the water, it doesn't dispense. Switch to ice or crushed and ice or crushed comes out fine (behind the flapper). Switch back to water quickly and water comes out fine again. Huh? Any ideas? Is this a bad solenoid that is messing with the programming? I'm getting around 13 ohms. Or is it a bad board? OR? Thanks in advance if you can help!!

Replace the motherboard. This is a common problem.
