I need to replace the right front burner switch which sits under the knob. The switch has cracked and will not ignite the burner. I don't know how to remove the existing switch, and install the new one. The knob hole doesn't seem large enough to get to the switch -- seem that the cooktop cover needs to be removed but it seems to be attached to the base. How do I do this (remove the cover)? Also, is the switch soldered into the wires, or is it a plug? Help please!
