Ok - kenmore 59569990 icemaker - ends up with ejector arm frozen into center of cubes. Removed icemaker, and let all the ice melt out. Reinstalled and no movement on the harvest arm. Tried to insert the wire into the two holes to force harvest and did not hear anything. Later hear humming and sort of like defrost noises coming from the icemaker that did not cycle off. So removed it again. Any thoughts? The only thing I can say is that it seems like this happened before once when we put in additional ice into the bin for a party. Same thing this time the wife put some more ice in and the harvest arm froze at the bottom fo the cycle. So Any suggestions? Other than of course beat the thing with a hammer or other suitible object just to make sure "that" doesn't miraculously fix it. ALSO- I have a supplemental icemaker that is a nearly identical "whirlpool" design in the garage. Couldn't I just pull the guts out of that one and put the front into the chassis for this icemaker? About the only difference is the mounting screw area is a little different. Anyhow that's one of my options, or is it just buy a new unit?
