E6-F2 or E1-F2 This might help with the diagnosis or clear up some confusion. We have rebuilt many of these Whirlpool and KitchenAid control boards that exhibit an E6-F2 error, often accompanied by an intermittently blank display and 3 fast beeps. In our experience, E6-F2 is ALWAYS due to a control board failure! So don't waste time and money on the keypad if this is your problem. E1-F2 is ALMOST ALWAYS due to a keypad failure with some rare exceptions. Besides the E6-F2, there are almost always one or more secondary issues (intermittent solder connections, worn relays, problematic lock drives, etc) which we take care of in the rebuild process. Theses boards seems to be out of stock again (new) but there is still plenty of time for us to rebuild a flock of them before Turkey Day ... Frequent part numbers failing with E6-F2: 8303883, 8302967, 8302319, 8301345, 8301908,4451856, 4451991, 4452890, 4452898, 4453664 http://www.fixyourboard.com
