What its doing is the temp control board is blinking along with dispenser board. I'm able to get the display lit up with off showing after I pressed the 2 buttons on the left side and pressed the turbo cool then raised the tempature at the same time after that the display stayed lit , then I adjusted temp to be 4 and then compressor tryed to start then stopped. what could be causing this can you give me schematics for the mainboard and tempature board at the top of the fridge section? Oiginally showing tempature and the lcd was bright dim bright dim then the display shows nothing have to press left side cold button and display comes back on then goes off. I need to know if both boards are bad or just one. I checked the relay/overload box on compressor and it has a rattle when I shook it. After reinstalling temp control board I could not get it to show any digits on the display except the bottom led labled set. I did see schamatics posted for ge profile but that link is bad. thank you in advance

depending on the first 3 characters of your serial number, there may be a recall on the MotherBoard For service manuals and lots of other goodies, become an Apprentice==> http://apprentice.applianceguru.com ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I changed out relay/ overload and same thing compressor try to start up then shuts off I hear no click. Also the hrs led is constantly blinking could that be some kind of fault code. That temp control board at the top of fridge is blinking along with the dispenser. I can adjust the fridge or freezer temp on display does this sound like a main board failure? I looked at schematics and they have no volt readings on them for the connectors with out any voltage readings I cant test the board. I was able to get temp to display off on fridge and freezer then raise temp and compressor tried to start for 1 or 2 sec. The temp board shows temps blinking bright dim bright dim then whole display turns off. I hear the water dispencer and the lights are on and no evap fan is on in freezer. I hope its not both boards. thank you
