drain assembly thing has been taken apart, anything that looks like a pipe was taken apart and checked for clogs. everything is clear. drain pump is working, during the cycle. when someone braver than me puts their hand in the garbage disposal they can feel the water rushing by, and it can be seen after passing through the garbage disposal. however, after the dish washer cycle is over there is 2-3 inches of water sitting in the bottom of the dish washer. it isnt stinky water, just clean clear water. i tried to follow everything i could on the FAQ but it seemed to be having to do with a failing drain pump and stinky water which isnt the issue im having.

How powerful is that drain discharge? It should be pretty vigorous and making noise when it's dumping in there. If it's coming in like a strong dribble or dropping off as soon as it enters the disposal, there's a blockage somewhere. Remove the drain hose from the disposal and look in that disposal port. If it looks like this, well, there ya go... ![]()

My daughter mousta81 posted the problem with the Frigidaire diswasher not draining properly and I appreciate your response. The diswasher will drain properly and completely (water coming thru garbage disposal with force!) just after the wash cycle, prior to rinse; however, it does not drain after rinse so water remains in the bottom of the tub up to the overflow. We removed all drain hoses from dishwasher to garbage disposal and from tub drain to drain pump and there wasn't any 'gunk'. I can't figure it out because the water drains completely after the initial wash but not after rinse. Not sure if I need drain pump or control panel or a new diswasher... Any help is appreciated!!

Need to see if your drain pump, item 60, is getting voltage when it should be draining. If it is, and it ain't draining, then the problem is the pump, not the controller. at your end of cycle is the clean LED lighting up to indicate the machine has indeed completed a cycle? or are there flashing lights? try normal cycle and make sure no options are selected, i.e hight temp wash, sanatize(make sure these are off) also turn off heat dry try to run the light wash cycle and see if there is standing water in the tub after that cycle
