i am rebuilding a frigidaire electric dryer FDEB23RGS1, and i got the new barrings in the new heating element and the blet and all ready to go, but one thing is holding me up. I FORGOET WERE THE YELLOW PLASTIC THINGS GO?? i need to see a breakdown or something like that or someone who is familiar with the dryer or the yellow things, i think they support the drum, actually im dang sure they do, i know were the back one goes, but the front one i cant recall.

the yellow plastic part (looks kinds like a hockey stick) is not on the parts list it attaches to the top front brace on the cabinet, plastic piece goes under the brace and screw goes in through the hole in the top, dead center the screw will be the odd screw out(its a bit longer than the rest and a coarse thread for grabbing into plastic) i believe the purpose of this piece is to prevent the front of the drum from dropping far enough that the back of the drum can contact the live heater(this can only happen after many years of no maintenance after the front glides are already worn to nothing)

I had a customer who let the rear drum bearing go too long and when I removed the drum, the heater element coil was completely wrapped around the rear drum bearing ball. It had arc marks all over it.
