Several months ago our digital display began to dim and eventually went totally black. The oven continued to work without the clock/temp being illuminated. After a month or so of operation with the clock/temp being blacked out the control buttons began to malfunction. Now, the oven is inoperable but the two burners and grill still work perfectly. HELP!! What part numbers will be needed for repair??

Looks like you will need P/N 71001799....In stock at repair clinic for apx..$190.....and change.......straight forwards replacement .turn off breaker, remove the four screws under the console, wiggle and tip up and out ( I use the oven door at the broil position to hold the console )... remove old then install new...then replace wire for wire................reassemble.....easy peasy

OK, I installed 71001799 and clock now works, BUT oven Bake, Broil, Bake Convection, etc...buttons are hard to make function and if it does accept the Bake, Broil...command and I enter the temperature setting it immediately begins to "beep" and displays an "F5" on the clock/temp display. What next?

F5 Power to element relays disabled in cook mode. 1) Intermittent sensor or wire harness connection. 2) Intermittent contact on PRB check your connections ...

I checked all connections several times and "bake, broil, convection" buttons will not take or enter a command. Could the front control panel have a short? I replaced the clock control unit with a new 71001799, connected and disconnected the two wiring harnesses and contact strip to the new 71001799. The clock, fan, timers, etc...all work, but the cook control buttons will no work. This oven is in a second home, but I need to get it fixed...HELP!!!
