It is not called " soap " the correct name is " detergent"...........soaps are lye based and detergent are petroleum based ( most ) ..... it is called a " range " not " stove " ...... A stove is internally powered . I.E. wood, yak dung, cow pies...... A range is externally powered,. I.E. natural gas or propane or electrically powered .............. fuses do not " blow "........." they fail or open " I.E. circuit is open ...The customer does not want to hear words like..." blow , explosion, Unless there is a connection...I.E. 15000 fire per year connected to dryer fires......... Go Seahawks........

I generally agree that is's very important to use the correct verbage in most situations however there are some people you have to get down and dirty with and get on their level if the situation demands their attention (safety issue) You need to be able to read your customers to know which path to take For example, at least 10 times a year in winter I get a call for an oven not working due to the fact that they are trying to heat their home with the oven...obviously these type of customers you have to be direct with and explain (in a way they will understand) the consequences that could result by this type of behavior. I've seen a 3 year old standing on an oven door (while ovens on to heat the house) and fried chicken cooking on top.....anti tip device you say? No not in this area...only seen about 3 installed in the past 20 years. These type of customer make up about 30 % of gross business in my area Just got to be able to communicate effectively with your customer.
