Anyone have a link for one of those mats you lay on appliances for your tools so you don't scratch anything?

I use foam padded mat, forgot where I got it.............but if you want different sizes of padded mat , go to the auto parts store and get a fender protection pad and cut the size that fits you tools or cut a few small ones to fit in your tool carrier.................

Hello, appl.tech, my matted friend. You know, back in the days of the invasion by the Great Soviet Satan, when I was with the elite Appliance Repair Corps of the Mujahideen, we would use weathered yak skin, made soft by the bottoms of our many wives. Perhaps you would find this an acceptable and pleasant mat to use for your "tools." Eh heh, eh heh.

In many cases the mat is used to protect the area from damage and give the look that you care. In the house I went in to the other day it was (if I could do anything with the smell) to protect my bag from the urine and feces smell and what ever was causing the floor to be so sticky. I had a great mat from a company we used to flip it and use it to move items around with out damage. But it was a custom one. I am now using a carpet one and it works great.
