 Please, honorable Masters, save me from this torture!The squeaking, squealing and grinding are horrible! Dishonorable dryer is getting worse by the day. The noise seems to be coming from the front. The little research I've done points me to "slides". But, I do not know what, or how many of anything to order. And, I also haven't the slightest clue as to how to open it up. Any, and all assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Thank you Master! The instructions and photos were 'right on.' The front slides are definitely the culprit. Wish we had asked for your guidance earlier. Three of the four front slides are completely gone! The drum has then worn through the top section of the drum glide area. It appears that the top section of this plastic glide may be replaced individually and then new slides set in it. Am heading to the parts site now to research this possibility. Please advise if additional repairs might be in order to head-off impending problems with this unit. Grasshopper bows to Sublime Master!

Yes, ur on the right track...glides and upper support. As long as the drum rim is still smooth that should be all that you will need. Clean the lint filter housing out throughly while you have the front off.

Following up on my dryer repair. Parts were very easy to order and arrived quickly. Super easy repair!! No more squealing and grinding. My mind is safe again(at least for now)! Thank you, Honorable Masters, for once again coming to our rescue!
