Dear Experts,

Model: CRR7244DQ2
Type: 113-01
SerNo: VLG2817720

This is an older small unit, but not a stacker. Compact top loader.

At the end of each spin, as soon as the motor cuts out, it lets out a loud bang, and it jumps. Jumps big time! There is a small dent on the front, from the inside outwards, as if impacted from within. I have not opened it up, but did read the FAQs and no description like that. It's done that since we got it a few months ago. I don't know if it did before that, or iif something happened moving it home on its back.

I see my apprenticeship has expired and I am a wee grasshopper again. I'll have to see what I can do about that.

Any ideas?

TIA,

jon

See page 8 of the parts list and diagrams that RegUS posted and see ref#3, suspension strap, (four of them, one in each corner on the suspension rods).

If these straps break, it will let the tub twist around too much and hit the sides of the cabinet when it stops.   The brakes on these will stop them very quickly even when working correctly.
