If you have a problem with you dish drawer pausing repeatedly during the cycle you may find that the housings on the electronic modules have become brittle and either broken at the latch or at the hinge. Either way the module will move during the cycle and that will be sensed by the position beam as the drawer not being closed. This is particularly a problem with the earlier dish drawers. The housing material and design was improved in the later units. The electronic modules are $180 Australian dollars each here, so when I had this problem I went around the appliance repair shops and got two later model electronic modules that had failed. I removed the circuit boards from the old housings, installed in the new housings and everything was back to normal. Last edited on Thu Sep 30th, 2010 02:32 am by fnqtech |

you could do that you do need to trim a little bit of plastic or the far easier way is just to use a large screw across the front of the module and through the plastic tub at a 45 degree angle holds the module in place and never hear from it again
