To begain with when the cycle was selected and the start button activated the cycle lights ( around the start ) all flashed and beeped several unk. times. The lock light stayed lit. The unit was powered off and upon returning to put it test mode the lock light was no longer lighting up. The cycle lights were still behaving the same way as before. Test mode was entered. The motor did not start in any of the 6 tests. The temp. / therm. indicator lights did. The stored error code mode was then entered. The manual was referenced but the code did not match the codes and / or code behavior in the manual. All status lights and the start light blink 6x and then only the start light blinks 2x followed by a 2 sec. pause and it start over again. The manual indicates that the cycle and start lights should blink independantly from each other for the code number they represent then all the lights blink together then a pause and it cycles back to the code again. After clearing and exiting the stored code mode. The indicator lights now appear normal when powered on. And the common cycle, temp. selections are lit. When start is activated it shows that it is in the drying mode. A relay sounds like it clicks on the main board but the motor does not run. The only thing checked so far is that the belt is not broken and the drum / belt / motor turn normally - manually.

This is quoted ( copied and pasted ) from the manual: "T he STATUS indicator lights will flash the number of times for the first digit of the code and the START indicator light will flash the number of times for the second digit. The code is obtained by counting the number of times the lights flash. Example E24: the STATUS indicator lights would flash twice indicating the 2 and the START indicator light will flash four times indicating the 4. The STATUS indicator lights and the START indicator light will start flashing at the same time. The control will then pause for 2 seconds, then repeat the code. Troubleshoot the problem by using the chart on next page".Unless I'm missing something; According to the example for code E24 the status light flashes twice for the 2 and four times for the 4. They indicate an independent flashing sequence in the example. The way you put it it would be 26 instead of 24. Perhaps your experience tells you that the way they explained it above is incorrect. That seems logical because the way it adds up on the unit in question the code would be E02. Which is not on the code list.

You're right they don't mention independent. They indicate it by they way they phrased it. Plus they say the status and start lights flash together after the independent flashing is over. The whole explanation is messed up. What you're explaining makes a whole lot more sense. I thought something was wrong in Dodge. Thank you wise master.
