Maytag Atlantis Washer Model Number: MAV 7258 AWQ I've changed the water inlet valve, checked the power and water supply, but the washer still won't fill. It will spin, but it won't fill with water How do I check to see if the valve is receiving power?

check for voltage across the terminals for your corresponding water setting, hot or cold. the thermistor (attached to the black nipple of the valve) tell the timer or board when to open and close the appropriate valve to achieve a desired temperature.![]() most likely your temp. board is bad. It could be your timer or a wiring issue as well. I'll have to look at your schematic in a bit. Board Link ![]()

Thanks, I checked the wiring leading from the timer to the thermistor for continuity. It gave me a reading of 30. I'm not sure if that is a good sign and a correct reading. Or a bad sign that I'm getting to much resistance and the wires should be replaced

Hi, After reading your reply, I took a look at the Temp Board. While doing so, I noticed that the wiring connector to the timer was not totally seated....It was only partially seated I took the connector off, re-seated it securely, plugged the washer in, and pulled the timer....Water began to flow If you hadn't mentioned the Temp Board, I would have never noticed the loose conection at the timer Thank you very much....Life is good...God bless you

Now another problem has arisen. The Delicate Cycle wont work. The washer fills, but when the timer advances it wont agitate. The other cycles work perfectly...Fill, Agitate, Spin, Rinse, Final Spin. Everything. But when I put it on Delicate....nada

seems like the Timer Connector again, or one individual wire connector
