I moved into an apartment that had this washer and dryer in the unit. No problem with it, till I went in the basement because it was beeping. No lights were on. Now, we can't get the machine to turn on. There is power going to the outlet, my girlfriend does HVAC work and checked that there was power. She thinks it's the CONTROL BOARD, but at $250 before we buy it I want to make sure this will fix it. People talk about ERROR CODES, but when the machine won't turn on, how would I go about checking this? Can ANYONE help please ASAP b/c I'd like to order the part ASAP if it is indeed the control board. Thanks!!!

The control board is getting power, but no power is coming out. There are NO lights on the machine at all, the light's are lighting. No beeping, no matter what you do. Have tried unplugging all the wires and plugging them back together but nothing is working.

If your sure that the board have 120 v going into it and your not getting any lights nor any beeps, nothing at all then I would agree your board is bad. Control board Link ![]()

Let us open our Appliantology hymnals to the The Book of Laws, wherein it is written, "Electronics and wet appliances do not mix." All electronified appliances should have surge protection to protect the cheesy electronics... http://fixitnow.com/wp/2008/10/16/protect-your-electronified-appliances-with-surge-suppressors/
