We bought a new recirculate pump for our washer the old one was 32 watts the new one is 85 watts. Is this going to hurt our PC board. being such a higher wattage. We also bought a new drain pump the old one is 80 watts and the new one 85.the impeller is much larger on the new pumps also. should we be worried about running this new pump?

A common snafu for DIYers. The correct (LG) part numbers are: DRAIN MOTOR: 4681EA2001D (80 watt) RECIRCULATION MOTOR: 4681EA2002H (35 watts) Looking at the washer from the front---the DRAIN MOTOR is on the left side of the PUMP HOUSING. The RECIRCULATION MOTOR is on the right side. NOTE: Some minor changes to the DRAIN & RECIRCULATION MOTORS were done over the years. Some are different in appearance or slightly different wattage---but *all* DRAIN MOTORS are interchangeable and *all* RECIRCULATION MOTORS are interchangeable.
