Here's what happened, open the beer portion and was getting warm, freezer seemed to be ok ~5deg. Looked at the coils, and dust bunnies had gone amuck, vacuum all the coils nice and clean, fingers crossed that I've git it licked. Beer box at room temp now, freezer holding around 8. Quick run to laptop and read appliance guru 'warm fridge' checklist. Condenser fan is running and blowing strong, compressor is hot to the touch and the strip between the fridge doors is very warm. So put a floor fan at the front of box to force cold air through the coils over night, this morning freezer at 0, beer box @ 78. Can't hear the evaporator fan and no sign of frost or ice on the evaporator coils. My next move is to check voltage to evap fan, and order one asap if bad??? Am I missing anything? Any flux capacitor that needs to be reset? As always, BIG THANKS

Yes, is the evaporator fan running? Should be running if the compressor is on.

Pulled the fan cover off in the freezer and found the fan still. Poked the blades few times and reluctantly begin and stayed spinning. Doesn't seem to be spinning real fast, but is moving now. Would crudded up coils make the fan motor fail? Or maybe it's a symptom of yet another issue(s)????? Or does a new fan motor seem the correct way to go? THANKS

Part on order...Thanks. Part will be here on Wed. Should I unplug the fridge until then...or let it run? I'm afraid I'll over work the compressor as the beer box will register 'hot' until I get new motor installed. Thanks again.

Its ok to run it till then unless you don't have anything you need to keep frozen. Be careful when changing the fan motor, the shroud is plastic and can break if you get crazy with it.
