Woo hoo! Part ordered - should be here by the 31st. Now I gotta figure out how to get the old one out and put the new one in. If anyone has suggestions on that little task, I'm all ears, as always!

if it doesnt have screws then it has little tabs that you just bend up to remove...if you wanna take a close up pic that might help.

the plastic shroud has to come up....should be screws securing the shroud..shouldn't have to raise it far. I'm dead tired, I try and get a better look at it tomorrow.

If you remove screws # 21 and 25 in the last diagram I posted it will probably give you enough room to remove the thermostat.

Ok - got the little bugger out. But I lost track of which side the red and black wires reconnect to when the new one comes.  or does it matter?

 Thank you again! Part arrives Saturday (hopefully) so this weekend will be spend putting the thing back together. Hopefully that goes much smoother.

Your quite welcome. Make sure you try it out with a half a cup of water for 60 seconds before reinstalling it...let us know how it ends up.
