hi i have a Maytag gas stove and the oven wont lite. Model # CRG7500AAW ignitor glows but oven wont light also i can smell gas can anyone help

That is correct. It is most likely the ignitor. Just because it glows doen not mean it is drawing enough current to open the valve. Does the smell of gas occur only when you try to lite the oven? If yes then it is just the ignitor allowing a partial opening of the valve. If the odor is present at all times you have a leak and you must find and correct it; if you can't find it , call a qualified gas tech to identify the leak. Good luck
