My Jenn-Air JDS9860AAP Serial # 17302524cr was acting up, heating up slow sometimes, and OK at other times. Replaced the temp sensor, but still flakey. So unfortunatly, I decided to do a Quick Check of the EOC' The display was working fine until I tried to enter the "Quick Test" Mode for the Electronic Oven Control. I turned off the breaker, waited a while then powered it up again. I then tried to enter the quick test mode (Cancel and Broil pads for 3 seconds).. Nothing happened, so I tried a few other pads... my bad... now, the display just shows the dim word " off " when any pad is pushed... I tried turning off power for an hour but it's still " off ". Does anyone know how to get it back " on " with the good ole clock display on again?

Thanks much... After reading your response, I then remembered seeing that info in the tech sheets. (Senior moment) . Didn't turn out to be the 12 hr off though. It turned out to be that I must have activated the Control Lockout Option earlier. (Stop Time, and Stop/Clear pads at the same time for 3 seconds) Pushing the same buttons again canceled the lockout. My original problem is slow to heat up, and doesn't hold temperature at times. I finally pulled the back and checked things mentioned in other posts. Temp Probe 1100 ohms at room temp, and 1300 ohms at 200 degrees Upper and lower element resistance good. Voltage good at terminal strip. Voltage good at each element 240v . When I hooked everything back up, I noticed the DLB relay buzzing quite a bit. I tapped on it and the buzzing stopped and the oven seemed to heat more normally. I will replace the DLB and see what happens. Again... Thanks a Lot

I finally got around to replacing the DLB relay. That took care of the problem. Thanks again
