My husband installed the remote lite control kit to our existing hunter fan that was a pull chain.  (worked succesfully w/ the pull chain light and fan previously)

We are able to use the remote to turn on/off the light and fan but it goes off and on at various times for no apparent reason.  do you have any suggestions?

I had this problem with a similiar light kit.  It happens my neighbor across the street had the same idea about putting a light kit in.  Since we both used the "factory default" dip switch settings we both controlled each others lights.  I changed the dipswitch settings in the remote and the receiver (just make sure they are the same) and everything worked fine.
