The dishwasher has power, but will not start. The cancel/drain cycle works. Most other buttons will not work. But if I push "normal", it will light up and "95" appears in the status display. After a while the "normal" light extinguishes, and the "rinse only" light begins to blink. I tried cutting and restoring power to the unit, with no effect. I made sure the door was securely latched.

STUCK KEY: If the control detects that a key is stuck in the depressed position, dishwasher operation will be suspended and the control will flash the light for that key until the condition is corrected. If a key without a light is stuck or multiple keys are stuck, the control will flash the light for the Rinse Only/Quick Rinse key.

Is it possible that the door latch micro switch is bad. I say this because a few weeks ago, when I opened the door to add a dish, the washer kept running.

Per your previous post, the "rinse only" indicator blinks for stuck switches that don't have a light. Apparently the door sensor micro-switch is one of those switches. Thanks for the speedy technical information.

Infact there is power to the Thermal Cut-Out fuse with the door switch open or closed. And with the power off, there is no continuity between the leads to the fuse.

If you are measuring 120v across the 2 fuse terminals, it means the fuse is open and needs replacing - this is further backed up by not showing continuity with power removed

There was 120v from the leads that go to the fuse. I replaced the Thermal Cut-out fuse, and restored functionality! I suppose the replacement of the electronic control board was unessary. But I'm not going to remove it now, because I'm worried about damaging the plug snaps, which would make the part unresaleable. Why do you suppose the fuse replacement kit came with a replacemnet wiring harness. The instructions were very clear that the new wiring harness must be used, so I did use it. I just wondered why?

Otherwise the heat from the Fuse, that close to the Board, could cause it to blow early. Other users have found that out, also.

Same dishwasher, 8 months later. The only thing that will work is the cancel/drain cycle. KUDS01IJWHO
