Does anyone know if there are another line of RO filters that will cross over for the 18 series RO systems ge had at one time.  The replacements filters are FX18P.  Three years ago I bought a case for no more than 30 dollars and now its like 60 bucks for one filter kit.  Leave it to GE to bend ya over.

I believe those are made by Ecowater (aka Ecodyne) - don't expect them to be much cheaper, membranes and filters for these things are outrageous! - built-in luxury tax
