This is my office fridge and all was well until I got in yesterday. Never a hint od an issue. Always ran well. Purchased new in 1997. No cold air, fan is blowing, back wall of the freezer does not get cold, compressor sounds like it is working, coils are all clean, no water in the evaporator pan. What should I be checking next? All you describe points to a possible bad compressor. First, if your model has a condenser fan, make sure it's running. If not, that'll make the fridge warm up. Next, get some eyeballs on the evaporator coil (behind the backwall in the freezer). Take a picture of it while it's running and post it here so we can see it, too.

This looks nice and clean, but I don't think that is a good sign. The coils do not get cold at all. Clicking on the image will take you to a site with a larger image

If the compressor was running then you need a new fridge
