Fault sode suggests sensor how ever I agree seems like erc to me, disconnect your sensor and OHM it out 1050 to 1150 @ room temp., check it. For a short as well and check erc connection for corrosion Last edited on Mon Dec 7th, 2009 10:09 pm by appl.tech.29501 ____________________ If you would like to make a donation you may do so at the link below http://homepage.mac.com/zenzoidman/appl.tech.29501/ |

Sounds to me like you are in Celsius mode. Either your use and care or tech sheet should tell you how to get back into Fahrenheit. 177C = 350F 287C = 550 or so Fahrenheit. These would be the normal starting point of the clock and highest allowable temp of the oven (550F).

Here you go... To change the temperature to °C (Celsius) or from °C to °F (control should not be in a Bake or Clean mode): 1. Press Broil . "— —" appears in the display. 2. Press and hold the up temp arrow until "HI" appears in the display. 3. Press and hold Broil until °F or °C appears in the display. 4. Press the Up or Down arrows to change °F to °C or °C to °F. 5. Press any control pad to return to normal operating mode.

Temperature conversion: The electronic oven control is set to operate in °F (Fahrenheit) when shipped from the factory. The oven can be programmed for any temperature from 170° F to 550° F (65° C to 287° C Celsius). To change the temperature from °F to °C or from °C to °F: NOTE: Control should not be in a Bake or Clean mode. 1. Press Broil. "— —" appears in the display. 2. Press and hold the Up Arrow until "HI" appears in the display. 3. Press and hold Broil until °F or °C appears in the display. 4. Press the Up Arrow or Down Arrow to change °F to °C or °C to °F. 5. Press any control pad to return to normal operating mode. NOTE: The time of day must first be set in order to operate the oven. I have a hard time with this oven range. now it give me F1 when power up. and the oven door is locked. I don't know how to move the motor to unlock the door. after I press "Clear" to get rid of F1, the "Clean" LED (Green) is on, constant on and door is locked. it displays time which begin with 12:00 I cannot change time because it is in clean mode. when I press Broil and Bake, it display "dr" (guess translate to door) my questions are what is F1? and how to move the motor to open oven door? this oven is very close to be on the side of the street for metal pick up.

Another option is to remove your control, and send it away to the folks at FixYourBoard.com to have it repaired
