Maytag MLE2000AYW (Neptune stack) washer timer won't advance past HEAVY on either cycle... It seems, to a novice like myself, that this is just a timer problem and I should replace it. Just wanted to check with those thats got more xperience than my self. - THEN EVERYTHING WORKS FINE AFTER THE MANUAL ADVANCE.... I've got the service manual #16009127 I looked through pretty thoroughly and didn't find a thing. It's a bad timer? right? ... Or is there some delay i missed while staring at the SM thanks, time for some red chili....

The Machine Control Board can control the Timer Motor at times... but, staring at the service manual, I don't know when ... If you could check the voltage at the Timer Motor when it stalls ...

What happens if you start the wash in the "normal" range as opposed to "heavy soil"?

Just like a "manual" advance from heavy to normal cycle, if it's started in the normal cycle everything works fine. Last edited on Sun Nov 8th, 2009 06:33 am by red chili time |
