Fisher Paykel 2001 Model GWL10US clothes washer. Went out to walk the dogs, when I came back, was beeping over & over. (not the muscal beeps, the loud irritating beeps).  Had a horse saddle pad (sorry) and a pair of jeans in there, was off balance.  Rearranged them, thought that would do it.  Turn it back on, the washer makes several  sounds several seconds apart like it's trying to start, then it stops completely and the following lights come on:

Reading left to right, #3 (green), #5 (green), # 7 (yellow), and the red spin light#8.

Tried unplugging it and waiting and plugging it back in, that doesn't help.  FP Help guy told me I have to call a serviceman, that it is an Electronics Fault.

If you can fix this for me, I'll promise you hours of pleasure, and you can even bring your sword.  :P

00101011 OOB Switch Fault

The Motor Control Module has fund that the signal returning from the Out Of Balance switch indicates that the switch is permanently on or the harness to it is disconnected.

Check that the out of balance swicth is free to move.

Check that no harnesses are blocking switch movement.

Check that the switch operates correctly when activated.

... etc ...

in future if you are going to wash only a couple of things set the wash with the spin speed on hold , this will do the full wash without spinning

when it finishes the cycle rearrange the load and run it just on the spin , saves out of balance problems
