I have a Lennox of the 1959 vintage, and it's been such a good unit. As I performed some maintainence on it today, I noticed that the blower shaft bearings are showing wear, as well as giving off a bit of vibration (also enhanced by hardening motor mount grommets). Does anybody know of a good source of parts for these babies?

It's a very simple unit and performs adequately enough that I'd like to keep it runnin' as long as possible. To replace it would mean a whole new can of worms as I use a masonary chimney and do not have a combustion air vent built in the house.

Specifically I would look at the purchase of an entire blower ass'y if available, as well as the fan switch, limit switch etc.  The Blower ass'y # is H210 - 3/4

I'd be amazed if you found much beyond replacement bearings and belts and these would be aftermarket. There's no way Lennox or any other manufacturer would still have a blower assembly for a 50 year old furnace.

I'm sure that old monster heats just fine but I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at the lower gas consumption and safety of any new model. I pray at the very least that you have a CO detector in your home.
