:? ok water goes in, timer continues to work, 7 mins go by washer drains. no motor humming or any sign of attempting to come on, this washer is about 16 months old friend has had it worked on twice with some type of part put on during 2nd service call tech inform customer that when washer has a power interruption she will have to unplug for 1 min plug back in open and shut door 5 times within 15 sec.  to reset , which does not sovle the problem. friend says shes sure that power did go off during a wash which started this problem.  service company says no more warranty, which is why I'm now trying to help. can you help me trace the problem? I'm a hvac service tech by trade.  and have a LITTLE bit of knowledge's about a hole lot of stuff.

I'm familiar with LED lights and its not there   so whats next??

Try turning lights off in the room , maybe then you'll be able to see the light.

You can reset those motors and get away with it sometimes.
Unplug the washer for a minute or so and after you plug it back in, lift and close the lid 5 times. IF that doesn't do the trick you're back to the motor and fuselink.
