I hope someone else has ran into this, but after searching for wisdom on the site...it appears no one has.

The washer will start a cycle and might run all the way through for one cycle. The next cycle...BAM....F35. And then, sometimes, it'll throw the SUDS error. All the diagnostics I ran showed OK. The steam diagnostics said "yes." The pressure hose is not clogged or pinched.

I'm down to replacing the Pressure Switch or the Control Board. Any second opinions, or alternate troubleshooting?

I ran into the exact same scenario earlier this week, the machine would shut down during fill showing a "suds" error - accessed the fault log on the diagnostics and found 4 F35 errors logged. was only able to get the machine to pass the initial fill by draining all of the water out, removing the pressure tube from the water level(hesitant to call it a switch) electronic board/sensor, called an "analog switch), blowing through the tube toward the tub and reconnecting the tube. This seemed to clear the problem, I proceeded to start the normal cycle, allow it to fill and run a bit, cancel it out and start again. After about 4 times, the unit again failed to complete filling and show the "suds" error. I then removed the back and the tubs pressure dome looking for some blockage, as well as the steamer tubing and trap as suggested on the tech sheet provided on the unit. Since there is no problems found with any of the afformentioned components,logic would suggest there is a flaky problem within this water level sensor which I then ordered up. These w/l switches are mere little square boxes with a bunch of electronic gadgetry attached, no clear means of testing them, you can blow into it, but cannot hear any clicks or any other simple signs of failure. Let us know if replacing this $140.00 tiny assembly solved your problem, as these are going to be nice things to deal with for the future when it comes to estimating repair costs without any sure proving methods.

They call that an "analog water level control" for some unknown reason. We see a lot of this. If you get the F-35 and Suds errors, you need that $140 part.

Thanks for that, I've not run into this issue before, only by the process of elimination that I was guessing at that peice, since there is no real way to test or prove it, I'll feel better next week heading back to that machine, or if some other poor sap gets it, my ears won't be burning when he curses me for misdiagnosis. yes as my fellow masters advise, its the analog water level switch ,so common we had to stock it on trucks,but seems to have been corrected not seeing this anymore, also make sure to use HE detergent..

So, the customer has not called back!!! I was uneasy because the customer left prior to me finishing the job, which was wonderful due to the fact of Cost vs. Time of Repair. That equation is a daily battle. But, .....

As I was saying, I was uneasy because after replacing the "switch", I ran a cycle and received the SUDS error almost immediately. Then, I ran a Rinse and Spin cycle. I tested several other cycles AFTER that, and received no such error. I was just waiting on a call-back, but have not heard anything yet.

I appreciate the feedback from all the Appliantologists. kdog described exactly what I went through, from diagnosis to repair. That was the second opinion I was looking for. But the others seemed positive on this repair as well. Good job ya'll. Now that I've said all this, the Angry Appliance Call-Back God is sure to strike me down.
