the washer will fill with water and will not agitate. It will drain and spin but will not agitate. any ideas??

remove front panel and see if you can rotate the big pulley both directions by hand

the motor does not hum while in the agitate cycle. the pulleydoes rotate both ways.

They will no longer agitate with the lid open. The extra microswitch on the outside of the lid switch is for agitate. It will fill with water with the lid open or closed, once it's full the pressure switch trips which routes power for motor agitate thru the external switch on the lid switch assembly. If you don't have a new switch and want to get the customer going or they don't care if it agitates with the lid open you can jumper the two wires that plug onto the external switch and the machine will work like the older ones used to and only not be able to spin if the lid is open and also the lid lock will still work.

^right, i forgot some of the lid locks have 4 wires while most have only 2
