We have a washer (wsxh208a1ww) and recently I noticed water around it, and think it was because I loaded a very wet comforter into the dryer above it and it leaked. It was right after that, the next time I tried to wash it filled up with water and drained, but no movement, the belt and motor never moved. I am wondering if I blew a fuse inside it somehow??? Or maybe it is all just a coincidence and the motor or something went out. I know it is not the coupler because the belt is not moving. Any ideas? More beer on the way if you can help us out :)

Okay that did not help me a bit since I have no idea what the problem is I should be looking for? Is the lid switch bad? Perhaps the fuse? Perhaps the motor is out? Please help as I need to do laundry soon ! :)

There's some diagnostics tests for the Motor if you have a volt-ohm meter ...
and know how to use it,

otherwise there's not much you can do without one ...

The leak may have taken out the speed control board.  First thing to do is remove the lower kick panel and peer intently into the innards under strong illumination.  Kneeling before the master of your laundry, firmly press your left cheek on the floor.  Forthwith ye shall notice the 1/4" hex head screws on the bottom seam of the kick panel.  Remove.  Then remove panel.  Peer.  Take photos.  Post here with your report.

most likely speed control board. there is a fuse on the board you can check for continuity across. if its open you know for sure thats the problem

Okay, I did not get emails telling me people responded, so first THANKS for trying to help me. I had the motor tested, it is fine, I checked the fuse but it is painted white, I cannot see if it blown. So is that what you mean by "open"? After further messing around I realized the door locked light stays on even if the door is wide open??? I assume that is not normal. Thanks again for responding, I am so frustrated with this thing.

"After further messing around I realized the door locked light stays on even if the door is wide open???"

with timer on and dispenser drawer closed the light will come on

the fact that water is coming in convinces me that the problem is the speed board

That's what you get when you purchase anything with the GE brand label on it!!!!

Samurai just gave you what any parts house would have without trying to find you the best deal.

That GE is just a Electrolux/Frigidaire washer with the GE label on it.

Here's the same control board for $100 less.

Frigidaire OEM part# 134149220
http://www.repairclinic.com/referral.asp?R=154&N=1206430

I can guarantee you this is the exact same part. Some parts places will show you cross references to other parts that are functional equivalents.  My parts supplier, (Marcone), if you put in the GE part# WH12X10154 it will show the Frigidaire part as an equal but if you put in the Frigidaire part# it doesn't show any other equal part#'s.

Anytime you order parts for this GE front load washer you should ask someone if they know what the Frigidaire part# is for the part.  It will be generally 2 to 3 times less expensive purchasing the exact same part packaged in an Electrolux package then if purchasing the exact same part supplied in a GE package.
